Contact Payment Gateway Africa
Use the form below to tell us about a new payment project or to ask for help with an existing one. Choose the request type that fits, so your message reaches the right people with the right details.
Pick the Right Request Type
Two kinds of requests come through this page, and each one needs different information.
A sales request is for a first conversation about a project. This covers new merchants and platforms, and existing merchants who want to add a market or a method. It is about where you sell, which local methods your customers use, and how you plan to connect.
A technical support request is for an existing merchant who has a question about a specific operation, such as a pay-in, a payout or a settlement. These requests need identifiers that let us trace the operation. They do not need commercial background.
If you are not sure which type applies, choose the one closest to your question. We will route it from there.
Starting a Project Conversation
Payment Gateway Africa is a payment gateway for pay-ins, processing and payouts in seven African markets: Kenya, Egypt, Ethiopia, Senegal, Tunisia, Mali and Guinea. To check that your markets are covered, compare them with the list of countries and local methods first.
A useful first message tells us four things:
Target countries and currencies: KES, EGP, ETB, XOF, TND or GNF.
The local methods you expect your customers to use, for example M-Pesa, Orange Money, Wave or D17. The mobile money method overview shows which method runs in which country.
Your preferred way to connect: the Hosted Payment Page or the H2H (API) integration.
An approximate monthly volume range. This helps us prepare a quote. It is not a commitment.
We prepare pricing for each project individually. The pricing overview explains which factors shape a quote. If you are ready to apply rather than talk first, go straight to the merchant application.
Getting Help with a Specific Operation
For a question about an operation that has already happened, give us enough detail to locate it:
The transaction ID for the operation in question.
Your project ID.
The operation type: pay-in, payout or settlement.
The country and the method used.
The approximate date and time, and the status your system received.
Never send API keys, secret keys, passwords or other credentials, whether in this form or in any other message to us. A transaction ID is enough for us to investigate. If you think a key has been exposed, say so in your message without including the key itself.
If your question is about status updates your backend did not receive, first check your endpoint against the postback and webhook guide. For general setup questions, the integration documentation may already have the answer.
Useful Pages Before You Write
Many common questions are covered elsewhere on the site:
Onboarding steps and merchant verification: AML and KYB requirements.
How data and access are handled on our side and yours: the security overview.
Answers grouped by topic: the frequently asked questions.
A specific term or concept: the developer docs hub, which includes a glossary.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should an existing merchant who wants to add a method use sales or support?
Select sales. Merchants already using Payment Gateway Africa can activate additional supported payment methods with no connection surcharge, and their connection price stays the same no matter how many methods are active. Enabling a method that is already supported may take up to one day.
What should I include when asking about a failed or pending payment?
Include the transaction ID, your project ID, the operation type, the country and method, and the status your system recorded. Do not include API keys or any other credentials.
Can I ask about a country that is not on your list?
Yes. Payment Gateway Africa currently covers Kenya, Egypt, Ethiopia, Senegal, Tunisia, Mali and Guinea. Mention your other markets in the message so we know what you need.
Do you send payment notifications to my customers?
No. Postbacks and webhooks deliver status updates to you, the merchant. There is no separate notification service for customers.
When are merchant settlements sent?
Payment Gateway Africa dispatches merchant settlements the same day (T+0). This refers only to when the settlement is dispatched. The time funds appear in your account depends on your bank's posting schedule.
